1. Upcoming MUA lessons

There will be 3 more MUA lessons before we end off our 1st Semester. Hope that you will be able to attend the following lessons that we have line up for you.

Details of lessons
Lesson #1: Smokey, crease/socket emphasis, hairstyling (hump/scorpion + tease)
Day/Date: Wednesday, 7th July 2010 (week 12)
Time: 3 - 6pm
Venue: E420, or else at the corridor between Blk E and H
Instructor: Syafiqah, etc

Lesson #2: Peacock makeup, eyebrow & eyeliner application
(if enough time, I'll touch on fake eyelash application)
Day/Date: Wednesday, 14th July 2010 (week 13)
Time: 3 - 6pm
Venue: E420, or else at the corridor between Blk E and H
Instructor: Hidayah, etc

Lesson #3: French twist, bridal hairstyling (curls, etc)
Day/Date: Wednesday, 21st July 2010 (week 14)
Time: 3 - 6pm
Venue: E318
Instructor: Nuraini, Mainnah, Huda

2. FLC Musical

The makeup we will be required to do is mainly basic makeup for external people, such as the volunteers from People's Association. We are required to come only on 9th and 10th July 2010.

Full-Dress Rehearsal (9th July 2010)
Time to report: 12 noon
Venue: La Selle Studio
(Want to go together, pls inform Hidayah your suggestions asap.)

3. SBM Workshops
(for seniors and committee members who are in 2nd & 3rd year in MUA)

These workshops will be instructed mainly by Hidayah and Fara.
However, more instructors are required to assist them to help our the students during their hands-on session. The following are the list of confirmed instructors and helpers for each session. It would be nice if there are more helpers. CCA points will be given, however the lecturer-in- charge is unable to provide excuse letters.

Workshop #1 & #3 for 6 1st-year classes
Day/Date: Wednesdays, 14th & 21st July 2010
Time: 3 - 5 pm
Venue: LTD-1
Current instructors: Fara, Huda, Syafiqah

Workshop #2 & #4 for 4 2nd-year classes
Day/Date: Thursday, 15th & 22nd July 2010
Time: 1 - 3 pm
Venue: (to be confirmed)
Current instructors: Hidayah, Syafiqah (22nd July only)
>> need 2 instructors for both days


4. JYOF (Journey of the Youth Olympic Flame)

SAO has announced that all of the CCAs groups are to participate in the JYOF. This event is to cheer for our fellow NYPians who will be passing the Olympic torch at NYP, the 1st venue once the torch landed on Singapore! so, be honoured! :)

MUA is required to gather 30 volunteers to be the motivators and flashmobbers.
Please take note that there'll be trainings on every Tuesdays and Fridays in July for the flashmobbers. The role will be determined by SAO.
The trainings are compulsory to ensure preparedness. We hope that many of you could volunteer yourself by this Friday night latest 9pm (2nd July) as the committee members would have to resort to picking randomly if volunteers form MUA does not reach the number required.

SAO will decide whether we will be the motivator or flashmobber. There's something extra! They are searching for 30 volunteers who would like to be the motivator leader and being a motivator leader, you'll attend leadership trainings/workshops by COCA-COLA! :)

Please, please RSVP Hidayah, Fara or Syafiqah asap via sms so that the list for your particulars will be provided. The deadline for the submission of the names of the volunteers is 2nd July 2010.

Please cooperate that if you are really interested, pls RSVP immediately and spread the message to other MUA friends.
